Pink Parcel!

Subscribing to Pink Parcel was probably the best thing I've done in a long time! Every girl knows that her period is definitely the worst week of the month. I always found myself planning my social life and any other activities around that dreaded week. But now, with the help of my Pink Parcel every month, I now look forward to my period because I know that I'm going to be graced with so many nice treats in my box!

Anniversary Treats.

For our anniversary, Alex decided to take me to Galu. It's an absolutely amazing Mediterranean /Cypriot restaurant in Banstead, and it's one of my favourites. It's kind of tucked away in the middle of nowhere, like you wouldn't know it was there unless you probably get lost or take the wrong turning? But I know it's there, and I'm a winner.

If it's good enough for Kylie Jenner...

Then, maybe by a little stretch of my imagination, it's good enough for me! As much as I used to love spray tans, I do find that they are so much more hard work than good old fake tan in a can.

Am I normal?

On the 27th January, Alex and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary - I say celebrated, I saw the physio and spent most of the day asleep because of my painkillers but, hey-ho! Three years feels like it's flown by, and I can't believe how much fun we have had since the day we got together.

Top 10: Make up.

I am absolutely loving playing with make up at the moment. I'm learning more and more everyday, and it's really making such a huge difference to me. Don't get me wrong, I'm no make up artist, but I think make up should be about what you want, what you like, and how you want to be.

Spectrum Collections.

Since I've not been feeling my best, I've been playing around with my make up like you wouldn't believe! I've not stopped faffing about, changing things, moving things, throwing things away, etc. Oh, on that note, I've put a couple of things on Depop if you're looking for nearly new make up - like literally just been swatched and I've decided it's not for me. There's some EL Double Wear foundation on there, some MAC foundations, a Smashbox Primer and an MUA eyeshadow palette. I think there's a MAC lipstick on there still, too. My Micellar Love.

I don't know about anyone else, but in the winter my skin really, really suffers. My skin dries up so much, and I get horrible patches on my forehead and my nose that I cannot do anything to make it better. No matter how good my skin care routine is, I just can't win.

Blue Monday? Blue January more like!

Urrrrggggghhhhh I cannot even believe my January has gone as bad as it has already! It all started off so good! I was eating my breakfast everyday, doing a bit of reading, so much life planning, to do lists, eating better, motivation to join the gym, excitement to go back to uni... And then my car accident happened. It was one small thing on just one insignificant day, but it changed so much for me in the weeks that have followed. My accident was two weeks ago, and I'm still not back to my normal life. It's literally doing my head in!

Hi! Happy new year! Sorry it's a bit late, things didn't go quite to plan my end.

Firstly, I hope you all had a really lovely break, and if you're back to work, or school, or uni, or whatever it is you usually do, I hope it's not been too bad for you. I am due back at university tomorrow, but unfortunately, I was involved in a car accident on Friday - I am moving nowhere fast. I am in quite a bit of pain, still a bit of shock, and I'm drugged up to my eyeballs on strong painkillers from the hospital. Not the best start, but, life goes on. I'm still alive to tell the tale, and that's all that matters.
